General Questions:

Q How do I qualify for the free move?
A You must have found out about the apartment community from Move Free America, or have been given information about a community that prompted you to visit and sign a lease. You also must have listed Move Free America on the guest card and application with your new community.
Q Do you work with all apartments or just certain ones?
A Unlike online locators, Move Free America works with 99% of all apartment communities in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and San Antonio. We work to get you the best deals and will never limit your search to specific communities.
Q Will the free move offer affect my rent or move in specials?
A No. The free move will in no way affect your rent or any move in specials that have been negotiated with your apartment community.
Q How can you move me for free?
A As licensed real estate agents, Move Free America is paid from the apartment communities marketing budget for your referral and is therefore able to pay for your free move.
Q Can you move me for free if I’m moving within the same apartment community?
A No, Moving within the same community is considered an on-site-transfer and we will not be able to pay for your move. Move Free America will only move clients that have qualified by using our free locating service.
Q What if I found an apartment on my own and have already visited. Can I still use the free move service?
A No. You must have found out about the apartment community from one of our registered agents, or have gained knowledge from an agent about a specific community that prompted you to visit and lease at the community.
Q What if I drove by an apartment community, but didn’t visit. Can I still use the free move service?
A Yes, as long as one of our agents provides you with information about the community that prompted you to visit and lease at the community.
Q Is there a minimum lease term that I must sign?
A Yes, you must sign at least a 6 month lease to qualify for our free move service.

Moving Questions:

Q What days do you move?
A Move Free America moves seven days a week with our last pickup being no later than 6pm each day.
Q How do I schedule my move once I have been approved?
A Please visit the schedule your move section of our website and fill out the request form or call our office at 214-754-9988 | 1-866-754-9988 toll free. A moving manager will contact you shortly to confirm your move.
Q How much notice is needed to schedule my move?
A Move Free America requires a one week notice to guarantee your move date. However, in many cases we can move you with as little as one days notice.
Q What if I’m moving into an apartment with a roommate who is moving from a different address, can we both get a free move?
A No. Only one free pickup location is provided with your move. Charges for an additional pickup location will be $30.00 per stop plus mileage. If you and a roommate are moving from the same address to different apartments, then both will receive a free move.
Q Are there extra charges for moving from or to a 3rd or 4th floor?
A No. Move Free America never charges for you to move To or From these floors.
